Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your purchase and use of The Friction Snapshot, The Client Friction Index, The Ready-to-Book Blueprint, and The Working Proof (together, the "Services") offered at smartchicbeauty.com by Smart Chic Systems, Inc., doing business as Smart Chic Beauty ("we," "us," "Smart Chic Beauty"). By purchasing an engagement, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Services

The Friction Snapshot, The Client Friction Index, and The Ready-to-Book Blueprint are diagnostic engagements. We score your brand's public digital presence against the Client Friction Index, a 45-signal framework, and deliver a written report. The Ready-to-Book Blueprint additionally includes a recorded narrated walkthrough, a live readout, and the bonuses described at time of purchase. The Working Proof is a separate, optional engagement: a working prototype of one page, built to the findings of a prior diagnosis.

The Services are diagnostic and illustrative only. They do not include implementation, a full site redesign, or ongoing development, which are separate engagements arranged under a separate agreement.

2. Fees and Payment

Engagements are offered at a fixed fee, stated at checkout. Payment is processed through our third-party payment processor (Stripe) and is due in full before work begins. We do not store your full card details. There is no retainer and no ongoing commitment. Submitting the reservation form before checkout reserves nothing on its own, an engagement is only confirmed once payment is completed through Stripe.

3. Delivery and Timeline

The Friction Snapshot and The Client Friction Index are delivered within 5 business days of purchase. The Ready-to-Book Blueprint has a 15-day turnaround and includes a 30-minute live readout, scheduled by email within a reasonable time after report delivery, subject to both parties' availability. The Ready-to-Book Blueprint is capped at 10 engagements per month, and its intro price applies to the first 5 sold at that rate. Availability at any given price or turnaround is not guaranteed until payment is completed.

4. Your Responsibilities

You agree to provide an accurate website URL and accurate contact information. The Client Friction Index is built entirely from publicly available signals: we never request or require login credentials, admin access, or any other access to your systems.

5. Deliverables and Intellectual Property

On full payment, you own the findings delivered in your report and may use and share them internally. The Client Friction Index methodology, scoring framework, and any templates remain the property of Smart Chic Systems, Inc. A Working Proof prototype is delivered for your own use as agreed at the time of purchase, and is not licensed for resale or redistribution.

6. The 3-Leak Guarantee

The Ready-to-Book Blueprint is backed by the 3-Leak Guarantee: if your written report does not score at least three findings Critical or Warning, you may request a full refund of the Blueprint fee. This guarantee applies only to The Ready-to-Book Blueprint. It does not extend to The Friction Snapshot, The Client Friction Index, or The Working Proof, and it is not a guarantee of any increase in bookings, sales, or revenue.

7. No Guarantee of Results

Our findings, cost estimates, and any calculator outputs (including the Revenue Leak Calculator) are directional estimates based on the diagnosis and on assumptions or figures you provide. They are not a guarantee of recovered revenue, bookings, or any specific business outcome.

8. Refunds

Outside of the 3-Leak Guarantee described above, if your report is not delivered within the stated turnaround (5 business days for The Friction Snapshot and The Client Friction Index, 15 days for The Ready-to-Book Blueprint), you may request a full refund. Refunds are not issued because of disagreement with findings.

9. Redesign Fee Credit

The Ready-to-Book Blueprint fee is credited in full toward a subsequent redesign engagement if you choose to move forward with one under a separate agreement with Smart Chic Beauty.

10. Confidentiality

Each party will protect the other's non-public information and use it only to perform or receive the Services. We will not disclose your brand's specific findings to third parties without your consent, except as required by law.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of the Services is limited to the fees you paid for the engagement giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. The exclusive venue for any dispute is the state or federal courts located in Texas.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in effect on the date of your purchase governs that engagement.
